The criteria for eligibility
Age Limit
- Applicants must not exceed 56 years of age as of the application’s closing date.
Deputation Requirements
Candidates must meet any one of the following conditions:
- Be currently serving in an equivalent role within their parent department on a regular basis.
- Have at least 3 years of service in a role with a pay scale of ₹5,500–₹9,000 or its equivalent.
- Have completed 6 years of service in a role with a pay scale of ₹5,000–₹8,000 or its equivalent.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must qualify under Category A or Category B:
Category A:
- Master’s degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science or M.Tech in Computer Applications.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or Computer Engineering.
Category B:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electronic data processing, including programming.
Salary Structure
The shortlisted candidates will be entitled to a salary based on Level 7 of the Pay Matrix, ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month.
